When the Hauke team arrived at the wedding of Pumla and Zani, we did not know what to expect, and little did we know that we were about to film the most glamorous and high profile wedding yet! As we walked into the reception hall our jaws dropped to the floor, Eve from Splendid Wedding Company turned the hall of Memoire Weddings and Functions Venue into a royal affair. The flowers and design work was crafted into perfection, and it was everywhere. Pumla was as gracious and calm as can be, she knew she was marrying Mr. Right and it made our work effortless. Besides Pumla’s beauty and Zani’s charisma, the day was filled with joy, just that, joy. Pumla walked down the isle in a stunning Vera Wang dress, not something we see that often in South Africa. The families of both the bride and the groom are rather respected names in certain circles; we realized this as our former president of the Republic, Thabo Mbeki made his appearance at the wedding. We once again worked together with the impeccable Christiaan David who never fails to deliver outstanding work. All we can say about this wedding is …WOW!
